Honesty, Integrity and a Whole Lot of Hard Work Keeps Your Bird Flyin’ at Trudeau Warbirds

Jamie Trudeau, owner/operator of Trudeau Warbird Enterprises, along with his lovely wife Janet Trudeau (whom he calls the "brains" of the operation) started in New England more than 30 years ago restoring and refinishing all types of aircraft.
Techniques and craftsmanship were learned from the dying breed of old school artisans. Several restorations were awarded trophies for excellence, and have graced the covers of many aviation magazines. Jamie's credentials included A&P, IA, ME and specific aircraft type ratings.
Six years ago, Jamie relocated to the Florida sunshine and partnered with Dexter Aviation for the unique opportunity to concentrate on maintaining the aging warbird fleet. Linc Dexter subsequently "retired", and TWE took over the complete operation. The hangar facility was expanded when it was rebuilt following Hurricane Charlie's devastating visit in 2004. Since then, TWE has become one of the most respected warbird restoration facilities in the country. Our client list includes a prominent Aviation Museum as well as many prestigious private warbird owners and collectors.
Family Business Means a Family Atmosphere, Where Safety Comes First
This is not a "drive through" maintenance shop. Only the highest standard of safety is afforded to each and every aircraft we have the honor of maintaining. The company is home to craftsmen and artisans who focus on safety and integrity of workmanship. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and  historical accuracy in our restorations.
On staff we have 3 IA's, 5 A&P Mechanics, and 6 Technicians, as well as several other very knowledgeable workmen and volunteers who have helped us provide the high level of service we are known for. While TWE's focus is primarily on T-28's, and other warbirds, we will accept GA aircraft for repair or modification.
