N10NA T-28 "C Model"

N10NA This T-28 "C" model is our next big and exciting project. It arrived in pieces, weeks ago, and over the next few months will be re-assembled into a stunning award winner. We are currently inspecting all the components, and updating the wings and fuel systems.

03/15/09  Several aluminum panels had to be fabricated and replaced before any fuselage or wing sections could be painted.

05/05/09 The fuselage has returned with its classic Navy paint scheme (orange/white/black), and has been mated with the tail section. Cabling, electronic harnesses, and hose connections are currently being installed.

09/10/09 This project has recently been sold to a new owner who has agreed to have Trudeau Warbird continue with the restoration. The new engine and prop have arrived, and the tail 'feathers' have been attached to the empennage.

11/02/09 Project progressing nicely; Avionics mods are underway, the engine is being built up, and the wings are in assembly.

3/25/10 All 9 cylinders, 1425 horse power Radial Wright 1820 86B engine was successfully "hung" today, and 10NA couldn't be prouder of her newest edition.
